What I did absolutely NOT like is that the staff charges me 30 dollars for a pick up and deliver service for a 5 min drive!! (while as advertised shuttle bus was included in the service with maybe some fee). Accra taxi''s are far much cheaper .. this would have cost only 3 dollars max. I saw the staff give the cab driver some small money. So this is kind of bribe!

The location is close to the airport and in a good neighborhood and the staff were helpful; however, the facilities appear to have never been updated and are in poor condition. \The room I was given had water damage on the ceiling, a very stained upholstered chair from their dining area, marred floor tiles, a loose faucet plus other items in need of replacement or repair. For 119 USD per night I expected more.

I found the staff to be wonderful and accommodating. The facilities were average in terms of condition, probably above average in terms of cleanliness. Breakfast was good, though they do charge extra if you want more a more European breakfast, but the charge is reasonable. The AC in my room didn’t work, I didn’t tell them till I was checking out this AM because we arrived so late and I didn’t want to deal with moving. The receptionist was very apologetic and highlighted that they would have moved me if I’d complained the night before. Overall, I’d stay again if I find myself in Accra.

Home away from home
We have been coming back to Lavender Lodge every time we are in Accra. It has truly become a home away from home, especially thanks to the amazing staff !! Every time, we are welcomed with the same smile by Ohenewaa, Isaac, Valentina and everyone else ! Almost like a second family ! 😊

The staff was really nice and helpful. The property was well kept. It was a little misleading about shuttle to airport. All they did was call the cab for you. You paid. It was made to sound as if they provided that for you.

The Lavendar Lodge, a Gold Nugget in Accra
I loved the Lavendar Lodge. The staff to a person were so accomodating. Always seeing if you needed anything. The room was very nice. The free breakfast was individually prepared And delicious. The meals were delicious and very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Oh you can get nicer and more modern accommodations but you cannot get a nicer staff or a more pleasant stay. It is also very quiet yet near the airport and many cultural spots.

A home away from home
A home away from home in Accra ! Conveniently located close to the airport in a quiet residential area, this hotel offers great service, comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast with real coffee (which we always take in the garden next to the pool). We have stayed at Lavender Lodge regularly for the last 5 or 6 years and dont even look at any other hotel whem we are in Accra.

I have been to so many hotels but i was shocked to my bones the attitudes of the receptionists (she was a lady 👩 to be precise. I dont know how to describe her attitude but am done with Lavender Hotel. I was in a room that i have checked in already just to be told in the morning that the room have been booked by another person so i need to move out. I said what a hell is that, she said yes you need to move out. So i got upset and packed ans move in to embassy Gardens hotel for anorher 3 night's

Cannot fault the excellent service and the attention of all the staff. Also, enjoyed the food at this establishment as well as the breakfast. Definitely a relaxing and tranquil location that suited for a few nights stay.

Loved it!
The service was excellent. We stayed one night and the room was great for us. Simple, clean and comfortable. The windows are thin so you can hear everything outside hit that was the only downfall. The restaurant has excellent food. We had the peanut soup and it was delicious! The continental breakfast was great. Lots of cereal selection, juice, fresh fruit, lots of tea choices and you can get simple eggs and toast as well. I would highly recommend this place!

I called tge hotel made them aware of my disbity and was told all facilities r disability friendly. It wasnt and i wasnt given the room i paid for. I was offered a standard single room. Im there with review additionally, seeking a refund and compensation and inconvenience i experienced. I had a slerpless night. Also i wasnt picked up with an appropriate vehicle, considering my disability.

Please note from our website listing that we do not have the kind of disability access that your needed. We were not made fully aware from your phone call that you had a large motorized wheelchair and we have never picked up any guest with a motorized wheelchair before so our driver was not notified and we do not have the appropriate vehicle for the service you needed. We are sorry you had an unpleasant experience. Furthermore, the size of the motorized vehicle is not adapted for our walk ways and hall ways. We were not made fully aware therefore this proved challenging for our staff. Furthermore, due to the weight and size of your machine staff could not carry it round to the stipulated room so the best and nearest room under the circumstances was the room we provided. You may wish to decision any differences with Expedia. We wish you all the best in all your endeavours. Kind regards. Management.

The hotel is nestled away in a quiet neighbourhood, and security is excellent. Bed sheets appear too old and fast losing their natural colours. Improvements could also be made to bathroom shower curtains for full bathing experience.

The breakfast was OK. There was no internet for the first two nights and that was bad. The adjacent property was very noisy, especially at night. The TV set is very old and the reception was poor

Great home away from home
Had an excellent stay, the staff was friendly and courteous. They assisted with getting me transport for sightseeing and trips in town. Breakfast was ok without a choice of local traditional food. Tea choices were the best. Very convenient location and great for a quiet holiday!

A perfect retreat in a quiet neighborhood.
This hotel is hands down my favorite hotel in Accra. The location is excellent, in a quiet residential area. The hotel itself feels like you're in your own private home. Beautiful flowers, excellent vibe, friendly staff. I went to take a quiet writing retreat and found the amenities to be excellent - the WiFi was always on, the air-conditioning was cool, the swimming pool was refreshing. Highly recommend.

I like the effective service of the staff. They were very helpful and polite. I place an order for special fried rice on my return and was surprised to find it ready waiting in my room in the night. It was very delicious and well recommended. Many thanks to Ohenewa and others.

エクスペディアで予約を完了後、部屋のダウングレードを伝えられ、到着後に相当分をリファンドしてくれるとのことであったが、1泊わずか10ドルの減額だけでした。アクラのホテルとしては、比較的快適でした。空港の近くで便利な位置でもあります。
