'Basic but perfectly comfortable accommodation as a business traveller. Staff friendly and helpful (we needed to do a data change on the spot for one in our party which was happily accommodated). Furnishings and fittings a little tired and in need of renewal (the 2-prong plug point was so worn out that my phone charge kept falling out). Hot shower with good water pressure was greatly appreciated. '

'All was OK, especially the very good swimming pool and the really very nice well kept garden, thanks to the property's dedicated grounds keeper, but the kitchen needs to be restocked with more cooking wares and specially drinking glasses as there were none of these at all..'

'The lodge is clean with wonderful & friendly staffs. The perimeters are under surveillance . There is no microwave in the rooms, you have to come to the reception to use the microwave. I hope the management make provision for this. The overall rate is good.'

'I paid online for the accommodation via Expedia, only for the property to insist I must pay at the property. Both amounts were taken off my account and it’s a disaster trying to get a refund the owner is arrogant and a bully to his staff! He is a con artist of note! '

'Firstly, the address advertised as well as the photographs of the accomodation are and is not the address of the actual "hostel. " There is no transportation to the actual address on Jan Smuts rd where you find out that you will be staying UPON ARRIVAL..
The cleanliness of the rooms are at best disgusting. No toilet paper is the tip of the iceberg.
There are naked woman walking the halls with numerous "visitors" coming in and out. The owner\manager is impossible to get hold of.

'Beautiful property in a prime and safe location close to many dining options. I didn't want to leave my beautiful suite. Savon has excellent service overall. Their spa is an experience worth staying at this property for. Amazing hospitality by all the staff we encountered, from the GM to the butler. They even left us treats for our Anniversary celebrations with delicious chocolate-covered strawberries.
We just missed their 25th anniversary celebrations the next day, but the preparations...
