'The Villa was in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance of many major tourist attractions, including the Acropolis. This made it very convenient for exploring the city.However, the Villa itself did not fully meet our expectations. The second bathroom was located downstairs, away from the bedrooms, which made it inconvenient — especially for a group of six adults. It was also quite small and challenging to shower in. The bedrooms were a reasonable size, but sharing just one bathroom...

'Host had listing up and I booked it well in advance. No communication from the host, and while ON THE WAY to the property on a one way ferry, the host cancelled our stay due to "construction" Host said she would pull the listing off, and still hasn't. Beware!'

'As others have said the stairs were a killer - but it was so worth it for the amazing views (from two terraces). The property was huge and with loads of interesting features (including a canon and seagulls hanging from the ceiling). It was a fabulous place to just ‘be’ and spend time relaxing. There were a few bits in need to repair (including one of the banisters, which was very wobbly) but that’s a minor quibble in an otherwise lovely stay.'

'Location and space itself were very good. Top floor bedroom is accessed through second floor bedroom, might be a problem for some groups, but not for us.'

'The villa was clean and provided plenty of amenities for us to use. Location is excellent for shopping, sightseeing, restaurants and very safe. Our host Sara attended to all our needs and was very accommodating. Can’t wait to visit again.'

'We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend Yannis’ villa. It was on a quiet street and yet in a great location for exploring Athens and walking to the Acropolis and restaurants. The villa was extremely clean and spacious, with bedrooms on three different floors. The library room was cool and even had a selection of CDs. It was an extra space to hang out in and could also be accessed by a staircase in the basement bedroom so it made for a nice private space for those in that room. Yannis...
