'The initial impression pulling up to unload was really bad. It’s unclear which “lane” for valet and which is self park. No signage and a tight space turning in from a busy city street. Awkward. One of the worst initial impressions ever. However, once you finally get in and up the elevators (takes time, there are two hotels stacked on each other in this high rise), the check in, the staff and ultimately the room were all fantastic! 'The staff was very nice! Came by train and allowed us to have luggage set aside before going to room so we could walk around Charlotte freely. Very convenient area and easy walk for concerts.'

The front desk staff were very nice and quick in getting me checked in. 'Most of the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food / drinks, for a hotel especially, are reasonably priced. The hotel is in a great location for walking to events uptown, but this also means lots of noise. On Saturday night and into Sunday morning, there was intensely loud drag racing that I could hear clearly, even on the 11th floor. 'Bar wasn’t open long, pool was the size of a kiddie pool, it was EXTREMELY hot in the lobby, we’re told it was a 75$ security hold that actually turned out to be $175. Valet parking is charged by the day and not a flat fee to stay. That was not disclosed. All in all will not be coming back to this location.'
