Hosts groups up to 13; relax with the whole crew at this private, peaceful getaway. You are just a short drive from some of the area's premier vineyards & breweries! With 5 bedrooms, 4 baths and 2 large living rooms, there is plenty of space for your family/friends, a fun bachelor/bachelorette, or wedding weekend! The Everley is a perfect home base for vineyard/brewery hopping, hitting the slopes at Wintergreen or staying in to enjoy the tranquility.

Private non-through road. There are some neighboring homes that can be seen from the property but none are directly adjacent.

The property sits on 32 acres and guests can roam freely other than around the separate guest house (plenty of space in between and a separate street address) if the main house if it is rented during your stay, which will be communicated to you. That small area is not integral to experiencing the home and the grounds. While we encourage you to explore the great outdoors, please be mindful of the fact that you are in a more rural wooded area and use caution as you would on any hike or nature walk. The homeowners are not responsible for any injuries that may be sustained while exploring and we encourage everyone to be as safe as possible!

Parking: Driveway 1 to the right of the main house can fit 5-6 cars. There is an additional driveway that will fit another 3 cars that's just beyond the house. Let us know if you need access to this and we will explain it further!

Please note- This listing is only available when the whole property (this main house plus Guest House) are not rented for a weekend as we like to encourage whole-property rentals so guests have the entire acreage to themselves! Up to 2 well-behaved, trained dogs allowed. We charge an additional $200 pet fee per stay.

Everley Home: Enter the front door to a spacious kitchen and dining area with a dining table for 8 and additional bar stools at the counter. We will have an additional folding table in the fitness room that can be set up by the dining table with seating provided (lighter chairs on lower level that can easily be brought up from downstairs for 4-6) so your entire group can comfortably eat together in the space. There is a deck off this area with dining seating and for all the grill aficionados there is a "Big Green Egg" grill and a separate standard 4 burner stainless steel propane grill.

Down a hallway you will find two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a bath tub.

Bedroom #1:
Queen bed with 2 closets

Bedroom #2:
Two twin beds and a closet. A "bed bridge" will be provided that easily converts the 2 twins into the size of a King.
There is an an en suite bathroom with a stand-up glass enclosed shower. This bathroom is also accessible through another door on the other side near the kitchen.

Bedroom #3:
Spacious Master suite with a King size bed, en suite full bathroom with double vanity and large glass-enclosed shower, walk-in closet and private screened in porch.

Just down the hallway there is a large living room with high ceilings, 70" curved Smart TV, and seating for the whole group. Off of the living room there is a private deck with an outdoor fire table and chairs to take in the peaceful wooded mountain views.

Downstairs you will find a second incredibly spacious rec room with comfortable seating and a game table with lots of games for you and your group to enjoy, such as poker, Cards Against Humanity, What Do You Meme, etc.

The rec room has glass doors that close it off downstairs along with a door at the top of the stairs making this an ideal additional sleep space. A bonus nook off the rec area will have a twin bed for additional sleeping.

Two additional cots will be provided that can be set up wherever fits for your group. The fitness room, rec room and main living room all have plenty of space for them.

Part of a brand newly renovated area of the house you will find bedrooms #4 and #5 that are located down a hallway on the lower level adjacent to one another. Each room has a Queen bed.

There is a brand new beautiful full bathroom across the hall with a jacuzzi jetted soaking tub, extra large glass-enclosed shower and double vanity. There is also an exercise space with a treadmill, yoga mats, free weights, and an 8 ft folding table that is perfect for all of your favorite drinking games and a full fridge with freezer for additional beverage storage.

There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer on this level.


There is plenty of outdoor space that you and your group are welcome to enjoy including a fire pit, and creeks that create a constant calming sound of running water on the exterior of the property.

FYI We have multiple security cameras on the exterior of the property, as is customary with large rural vacation rental homes.

Please also note- It is possible that the separate guest house may also be rented during your stay. The homes are very spread with separate everything (driveways, decks, outdoor space) so this will not disrupt your stay but we do want to note that!

Ladybug Clause: Yes, you are reading it right! If you're native to this general area then you are probably already aware but over the past few years the rural (and now urban) areas in and around Charlottesville have dealt with many ladybugs coming into homes. We are going to be testing out some non toxic solutions to help discourage them from entering the house, but they find any crack to come through and tend to hang out in windows and sunny areas. Because of this, we will keep drapes closed between guests and we will do our best to sweep as many up prior to arrival but do not be surprised if you arrive to some alive and dead ones in and around the windows. We do not want this to be perceived as a cleanliness issue as the home will be thoroughly cleaned by our amazing team between each stay!
