'VRBO and the host double booked the place. After a long drive we arrived to a house full of guests who were already unpacked and very unhappy to see us. VRBO's "VRBO Care" would have had us moved from a 4 bedroom house to a hotel for one night, and then the remaining nights at a similar place nearby (but that we would need to find on our own). This was unacceptable so we asked for a full refund.'

'We couldn’t have be more pleased with our stay at Blue Ridge Beau. The cottage seemed new and beautifully decorated, and was amazingly well appointed. We had fun trying out the fire pit and learning to use the pour over coffee system. The beds were oh so comfortable, and I was impressed with details like kitchen cabinets with labels on all the contents (making it easy to find anything you might need) and the plentiful electrical outlets throughout. 'My girlfriends and I had a great stay at this rental! The property offered great views, plenty of space and of course, the hot tub! Located conveniently to a variety of wineries, breweries, and hiking trails. The two full size beds, two twin beds, and a pullout couch were very accommodating. The host offers many helpful additions, including - dish soap, hand soap, vacuum cleaner, towels, laundry detergent, Ziploc bags, aluminum foil, plenty of kitchen appliances and utensils! 'Clean, nicely decorated home and polite hosts, but our stay was significantly impacted by a heating failure during extreme cold. We arrived to a 51° house just before a winter storm; despite emergency heat, only the living room and primary bedroom (with fireplaces) were usable. A functioning HVAC system is a basic requirement at this price point. No refund was offered; relocation during the storm was the only solution. We appreciate the home, and would have loved to return.'

'Our stay at the Afton Clubhouse was absolutely wonderful and would recommend this property to anyone! Jamie and her BSG Team were awesome hosts, providing the door code shortly before check-in.
