'Easy contactless check in, easy directions/arrival details. Clean, lots of space and quiet neighborhood (except for those frogs at night!) but loves being in nature and close to Kilauea. '

'All in all, a lovely stay in a peaceful setting. Bit strange description of the "grumpy neighbor"; we did not see him so no comments from our side. The house was clean and fully equipped. In the dark this house is difficult to find though. Hike to the lava cliffs is very nice though!'

'We like to travel a lot and this was the best house so far. The house is amazing. Check-in was quick and easy. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in time which was very helpful. Bedrooms are very spacious. We were able to pick a lot of different fruits in the yard. '

'The Thomas Guard house is a very special place! The setting is spectacular, with waterfall and jungle views from multiple lanais. There was plenty of space for our group of seven to spread out (including three kids and two grandmas) - everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was ideal for our family. The house is beautifully and lovingly restored and well-maintained. There is no air conditioning, but each bedroom has a ceiling fan and a floor fan, so we all slept in relative...

'Me and my family stayed a week here and we loved it! The location was convenient and the area was very nice and quiet. The home was clean and the owners were very easy to contact and kept in touch. The ac came in handy since the weather was very warm and humid when we visited. I would definitely stay here again and will definitely recommend them to others visiting the island. '

'Excellent accomodations! The day we arrived was rainy and the Treehouse was so cozy, perfect to curl up and read a book. The location was excellent for hiking Volcano thee next morning and then popping back at night to see the lava. Also great location for visiting Panalu'u, a black sand beach with turtles!'

'Very cool property on a secluded lot. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable. Great patio and was able to hang out in July with no bugs!Conveniently located less than 45 mins from Hilo and South Island activities like Punalu’u (the best black beach). But of course minutes down the highway from Volcano Natl Park. Only thing missing is a hammock on the patio!Highly recommend. '

'We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous ranch house. My partner and I stayed for the weekend and had family come over for a barbecue. It fit us all comfortably and we all enjoyed the beautiful view and animals roaming around. 5 stars all around. '
