The Space:

Perfect for couples seeking a peaceful getaway, our cozy lakehouse features 2 bedrooms, each furnished with a luxurious king bed for your comfort. One of the bedrooms has its own smart TV so you can stream your favorite shows in bed. The bathroom boasts a shower for after a day of adventures.



Step outside onto the spacious deck where you'll find a gas fire table, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. Take in the breathtaking views of the North Reservoir from the deck's seating area, ideal for enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset.



Inside, unwind in the inviting living room equipped with a smart TV, or stay connected with loved ones through our complimentary Wi-Fi. Prepare delicious meals in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with all the essentials you need for cooking.



Don't forget to take advantage of our private dock, which is across the street, where you can launch the kayaks or simply sit and soak in the serene atmosphere of the lake. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, our lakehouse offers the perfect escape for couples looking to reconnect and create lasting memories!

The entire home is yours to enjoy!



NOTE - This unique property offers more than half an acre and includes two parcels. The first parcel is waterfront featuring a private dock, kayak rack, seating area and two complementary kayaks. The Hilltop Lakehouse sits on the second parcel, right across the street and high up on a hill, allowing for stunning water views, a generous yard and brand-new deck.



The Neighborhood:

Portage Lakes (PLX to the locals) is a vibrant lake community (spanning 14 lakes and reservoirs) with a great mix of full-time residents and seasonal vacationers who all have one thing in common: we love life on the lakes! There are TONS of awesome bars and restaurants dotting the shores, along with all sorts of lake activities to keep you entertained for a weekend or a month.



We are driving distance from:

- Portage Lakes State Park & Boat Ramp - 5 min drive

- Pro Football Hall Of Fame = 20 minutes

- Firestone Country Club = 5 minutes

- Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) = 20 minutes

- Downtown Akron = 15 minutes

- Cuyahoga Valley National Park Visitor Center = 30 minutes



Getting Around:

There are lots of great restaurants and bars within a 5-10 minute walk!



Other Things to Note:

NO PARTIES -- There are ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES, events or large gatherings allowed in the home or on the property. We have neighbors who will notify us of such events, and you will be required to leave immediately with no refund and a negative review will be documented. Extra cleanup from the evidence of a party or large gathering may become subject to a $30 hourly extra cleanup on top of the existing cleaning fee.

NO SMOKING -- There is absolutely no smoking of any kind anywhere on the property (cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, e-cigs, vaping, etc.), and if in violation you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund in addition to a documented negative review.

LOCAL GUESTS -- All local (Cleveland-based) guests must have at least 2+ positive reviews to book this property. Local guests must have a detailed explanation for renting due to past negative experiences with local guests (see the no parties/large gatherings rule).

PROPERTY DAMAGES – Any damaged property must be reported to the host. We understand accidents happen, and please make sure to notify the host/co-host if damage to the property occurs. Replacement fees and/or reimbursement for damaged items may occur if needed.

GUEST PROFILES – All guests must have a complete profile (including verified ID) with a profile picture.

EXTRA GUESTS – All guests on the reservation must be included in the total # (please no unauthorized guests without permission from the host).

Early Check in & Late Check out: We can accommodate up to 2 hours early check in or late check out for a $25/hour fee. Please give us a minimum of 24 hours for this request in order for us to organize our schedule.

As a courtesy to our cleaners, any uncleaned vomit and or blood will result in a $100 charge to the guest.
