Hotels met zwembad in Alabama Mountains

'On our last 2 stays at this Avid, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. I think it was a malfunction of the system and not an actual smoke detection. We were not able to get a good night’s rest. We won’t stay at this hotel again.'

'There was no ice bucket in the room to get ice. Breakfast is advertised as grab & go so I suggest you peel the boiled eggs. That's hard to do if you're on the go. There were plenty of towels in the room. I suggest you have some information available in the room about local places to eat and visit. I appreciate the shampoo and body wash mounted on the wall in the shower.'

'Very clean, thought we got a free breakfast but you don't, they had a bistro that sold food, kinda pricey and really nothing for preteens to eat, but we got the fancy Pizza and wings, which tasted good just kinda costly. Pool was small but clean, the were strict about kids swimming with no adult but it was 5 ft deep and the kids were 10 and 12, and grew up with a pool so they were kinda again, strict,.but other then that help was friendly.'

'Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. Large clean pool with lake view was the best.'
