'We got to stay in the upgraded condos! They were beautiful! I had never stayed in the A and B side! Each of one of us had basically an apartment to ourselves. '

'Fabulous little place! Has pools ourside and 1 inside with a hot tub. The beds are super comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the beach was a bit of a walk at 2.5 blocks. And you had to cross 4 lanes of bust traffic during the day. At night it was not an issue as much. I think there needs to a crosswalk put in to help with crossing the road safely. '

'We booked this last minute and didn’t know what to expect. It was our first time to the area. We were pleasantly surprised. The room/condo was right in the beach with beautiful views of the ocean from our deck. Only a few steps away from the beach. The tennis/pickleball court was in excellent condition, with good equipment! We did have to buy our own pickleballs (not a big deal)and enjoyed it every day. 'Great house and location for a beach vacation'

'Unit was great - no issues. Very responsive communications from the owner. You can walk right out onto the beach which was nice. Location is in southern Nag's Hed which faciliates getting to the Hatteras National Park and Manteo.'

'This was our first time on the 4X4 Beach and we are in love with the area. We found this house by a drive by the year prior. We read the reviews and booked the house. To be honest we were a little nervous as we have never used VRBO before. We could not have been happier with the host as she answered our questions quickly and politely. She was accommodating and understanding to our needs. The house was the cleanest we have ever experienced as we have been vacationing in OBX for 25 years. ...

'Check-in was extremely easy and the host messaged us that our unit was left unlocked for us, just before we arrived. He let us check in about 30 minutes early upon our arrival, which I appreciated so much being that we had a 5 week old newborn with us. The cottage was as described and very clean.
