The view from the balcony was beyond marvellous, the house was always cool. It was clean and spacious. Location of the house in a small community of houses was simply excellent. Loved the pool. 'Reaching the villa is an adventure, driving over a very steep but well drivable narrow road. If you rent a car (you do need a car!!) you should go for a diesel. We didn't. Our Nissan Micra made it barely through the hairpins in first gear. A diesel would have been much easier to drive. Once there you get an astonishing view over Almunecar, the hills and the sea. 'Incredible stay at this beautiful apartment. The photos don't do it justice. Beautiful views over the beach and the bay to Almunecar from a very good terrace. Really well equipped house. Fantastic for a two week stay. Nice shared pool just a few metres away. Twenty minute walk into La Herradura - hot but manageable. About 40 minutes to get to the marina - if you're fit. There is parking at the property but it is down a steep hill. Fine if you're a good driver and in a reliable car. Great...

'Someone from the nerja property rental was there to welcome us, even when we arrived at 10.30pm. The house itself has everything you could need and two stunning terraces and lovely pool area. It’s close to burriana beach, but the hill up to the house is an absolute killer if you’re doing it in the heat. That hill is what gives it the beautiful outlook it has though. We loved the quiet area, yet it being close to all the action. '
