Wonderful home close to major attractions in the area. Host was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again if I am ever in the area again.

Not clean - would not stay again.PROS -The house is in a good, quiet neighborhood, and the kitchen is well stocked. The host was very responsive and friendly when we needed help with the AC unit, but the stay was disappointing. We rated this stay two stars instead of one star because the host was so helpful...CONS -but this is the dirtiest VRBO we have ever stayed in and would not return. This house is clearly a previous pet home and was surface cleaned, but in great need of a quality deep cleaning and new flooring. The carpet was vacuumed, but worn and dirty. The linoleum is old, worn, scuffed, and dirty. The kitchen cabinets were greasy and the knobs sticky. We hand washed the dishes before using them because they were not clean. The dishwasher racks are so full of rust and corrosion it was almost unusable.The back yard blinds are worn, bent, and glued onto the tracks. The baseboards are dirty, the ceiling fans dusty, the interior doors have holes poorly patched with tape, and the washing machine is rusty. This is not the level of care that we expect from a home rental. If it were a hotel room you would likely refuse it and ask for a different, clean room.

Overall, a good stay with basic amenities. Stayed for a conference nearby, so location was very convenient. Good for small groups. If staying with a larger group or depending on the kitchen for large or frequent meals, the amenities might not be adequate. Main room TV often slow or crashed for streaming services.

My husband and I had a great stay. The house was very clean and well taken care of. Had all the essentials and the little extras for a welcoming stay. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Comfy living area to relax after our day hikes and eat in. The covered patio was nice to have a bite in the shade. Beds were comfortable. Carla is very responsive and easy checkin checkout. Highly recommend as a cozy and welcoming home to explore the surrounding areas.

A cozy place

We were staying in the area with our baby girl because my dad lives nearby and it was a cozy and comfortable home away from home. Communication with the host was easy and timely and the space was as advertised, including having a place for our baby to sleep. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Overall good rental and location

This property is a great location for visiting New Mexico, it's not too far from Albuquerque and right down the street from a train station that provides easy access to Santa Fe. There are plenty of dining options nearby and a couple of grocery stores if you prefer to stay in. The house and rooms were comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. The only not so great things about the property are easily fixable and may not be an issue for everyone. First, the rear sliding glass door does not lock, but there is a bar available to provide some security. Second, the blinds on nearly all windows could use replacing, not an issue in the winter or during the summer when then AC is available, but we visited in the Autumn, and one of the days we wanted to open the windows to allow for some cross breeze. All of the blinds seemed to have issues, and one of them even fell off the wall. Third, the master bathroom shower has a soap/shampoo dispenser, which is very thoughtful, but it's right in the middle of the shower. It gets in the way, and makes the shower feel smaller than it is. I would recommend moving this dispenser to the end wall. Like I said, definitely not deal breakers, and likely wouldn't even be issues the everyone. I would still recommend this property and would likely stay there here again if we travel to this area again.

Carla is one of the best owners to deal with. House is always clean and there are many amenities such as paper towels and toilet paper are included where others do not. It was nice to have a king bed in the master bedroom. However, the mattress was a little soft for me. Because of our constant running schedule with our family I didn't get a chance to tell Carla about the remote for the overhead light and fan needed a battery. I know she would have responded ASAP. Good property, quiet and safe neighborhood. Great owner. Our second time to stay at this location.
