'A great home-base location to explore all downeast Maine has to offer. Local shops & Whale Watching in Eastport a quick drive away and within an hour drive to great hiking & iconic lighthouses. Then the family was able to wind down on the back porch & enjoy the view. '

'We had a wonderful stay for our first time on West Grand Lake! The cabin had everything we needed and was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We brought our two dogs, and they absolutely loved running down to the dock each morning to swim and look for fish. The views were stunning from sunrise to sunset — truly unforgettable. 'A perfect place to relax and soak in nature. The cottage was our base camp as we traveled to Acadia National Park, Lubec and Machias. The deck was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunset in the evening.'

'Stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. The house was clean and very well-equipped. The location was very private and easy to access. We swam every day. The lake and waterfront were very swimmable, but I recommend wearing water shoes as it can be a bit rocky. Proximity to the coast and Eastport, Lubec, etc, is great. We were very comfortable here. We had our 80-pound dog, Stella, with us, and she approves as well. We would definitely return. Zero complaints.'

'Was so impressed with how clean the cabin is. Very new, internet worked fine. But you’re there for the nature and water fun. They supplied some canoes and snacks and laundry supplies. Very nice folks. They will answer any questions very fast, just give them a call. Beautiful lake, the river goes right to the lake and has Excellent fishing on it. Don’t hesitate to book this 5 star cabin in the woods and enjoy the nature!'

'I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). Later she emailed me saying that because I was only registered for 2 she was charging my card an extra fee. Sure enough when I checked my card was charged again. I didn’t mind paying for the extra. I really had thought...
