'I was part of a group of 5 with DB reservations. 3 arrived in advance and told us not to come. I tried to get out if this reservation in advance Inc calling from a flight. They were adamant that no refunds would be given. The advanced party were correct. The room had not been cleaned, it had mold in the bathroom, used toilet tissue left on the floor, at least 5 spiders crawling around. All of this I have on video. Horrendous does describe it. 'Nice rooms, very nice surroundings. But it’s a pity they turned this lovely house into a very expensive Center Parcs. You smell the pool already when entering the lobby. All the new extensions you do not see on the pictures on the website. . Service often is quite bad & chaotic.'

'The family room was well arranged, modern, and perfect for our group of 5. The drawbacks were 3 flights of stairs and no elevator, and the kitchen is no longer serving meals. However, our room was great and very quiet! Helpful young man at reception showed us local restaurants. Very nice neighborhood with walkable streets.'

'Perfect stay, felt like home. Nice views, very clean, tasteful decoration, delicious fresh breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts. Busstop next door. By taxi 5 min. to Drymen or 10 min. to Balloch. I hope to come back once!'
