We regard this as a very good informative review which covers what the apartment has to offer. Andrew was a model guest and we would be delighted to have him back again if it suits him in the future. His communication before, during and after his stay helped to make his stay convenient for both his party and my management team.

We were very pleased to have Sean and his wife stay at our apartment for an extended 6 week visit to the Algarve. Our floors in the apartment are tiled and do need regular cleaning both with the vacuum cleaner and also with a mop and bucket. We addressed the complaint with the Manager who organises the cleaning and she has taken this onboard. Sean had asked for one mid-stay clean of the apartment and this seems to have taken place to a satisfactory standard. Our hot water is provided by a gas boiler in our utility and there are pipes that run to the kitchen and the bathrooms. We are considering replacing the current boiler with a new one and possibly a solar panel backup to a hot water tank. However, we were over after Sean’s stay and the water in the kitchen was running hot. There are undoubtedly ants in Portugal as I am sure there are bigger ones in North America. When we encounter them, we tackle them with insect spray and exterminate them. I wasn’t made aware of the ant problem until seeing Sean’s review. Personally, I have been in the apartment since his stay and did note some ants but these have been dealt with. There is a spray in the apartment for anyone’s use. We would like to apologise to Sean and his wife for the insufficient WIFI at the start of their stay. Prior to this we had always used the condo’s community WIFI which does seem to have deteriorated in quality over time. We made the decision to install our own dedicated WIFI but this only came about because of the problems Sean was experiencing and took some time to organise the local Internet provider. Normally our guests only stay for 1-2 weeks on short breaks. On a longer stay like this we are inclined to let the guests choose their own preferred soaps and other essentials. There is a soap dish in the main bathroom if guests require it. However it is unhygienic to leave a used soap for other guests, which is why we leave liquid soaps instead. There is now shower gel supplied for guests and the Manager has been asked to replace it when required.

Our lead guest has pointed out the apartment's good points but also mentioned that the apartment wasn't as clean as they would have liked. In defence of my staff the apartment has been exceptionally busy for over a month with one set of guests following another with only a 6 hour cleaning and preparation window. An extra clean during the guest's stay was arranged and the cleaning has been stressed to the cleaning staff. Also, going forward there are longer gaps between guests. These negatives have been noted and will be addressed in future.

This guest only had a short stay in the apartment at a time when the temperatures in Portugal and the Med were very hot. I'm glad she enjoyed her stay and would love to welcome her back in the future if she should wish to stay a bit longer next time.

The apartment has been rented continuously for the last month and a bit of a break to rectify things and appl;y a bit of TLC would be welcome. Our guest booked quite late (about a week before the dates of his stay) but communicated well and was a model guest. We would be delighted to have him back if he wants to sample some more of what Sunset Villas and the Algarve has to offer.

Linda had a 2 week stay in our apartment with her husband and 2 children. One a golfer. They seemed to enjoy themselves and we would be delighted to welcome them back in the future.

She is currently looking at possible dates for another visit to the apartment next year. The apartment is undoubtedly very well placed for golfers playing at Vila Sol golf course. It is also a lovely apartment for a family holiday.

These returning guests are model clients. We have tried to facilitate them to the best of our ability in the past and will continue to do so going into the future. The fact that they keep coming back must speak for the suitability of our apartment and the surroundings.

Ian took a ferry from the South of England to Santander and drove down to us with his wife. He communicated in advance for a flexible arrival and departure and stayed with us for a month from late January to late February. The couple have experience of the Vila Sol area and were good guests. We would have no problem welcoming them back in the future.

Mr Foster and his wife only stayed in the apartment for a short time but were model guests who communicated with us before and after their stay. We would be delighted to welcome them back in the future if they would wish to return.

A larger parasol will be considered for the future. A previous large parasol was replaced after fair wear and tear by the current smaller one with a view to ease of movement.

This renter took a few days out from their stay at the apartment and took the train to Lisbon for a mini-break. They seem to have enjoyed themselves there as well and have put the idea into my head. It is gratifying to have renters who wish to return for another visit and enjoyed their holiday.

A good balanced review from a guest who enjoyed his recent stay in our apartment. Keith wasn't a golfer and didn't appear to make use of the nearby Vila Sol golf course which boasts 27 holes of excellent golf and an extremely convenient practice/driving range.
