'The dishwasher didn’t work, I tried to notify our contact, but I wasn’t able to get ahold of them. There is a laundry facility that shares the driveway, and sometimes their trucks block you in. We did enjoy our stay.'

'This will be our "Go To" place to stay in Mackinaw. By far the best place to stay if you like privacy, convenience and the perfect location. We slept 6 with no issues. Would be amazing for a couple. We will be back. '

'Space was exactly like the listing, with a parking spot right out front. Less than 10 minute walk to restaurants and the Ferry Launch. Host was quickly responsive, although we had no issues during our stay. Check out was simple, just lock the door! Loved not having to play maid service like with other properties. Would recommend, and saved for future visits! '

'Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance. The information sent to on check in day could provide better directions to the...

'We had a lovely stay with our family of 8 and our pup. The lakefront location was wonderful (don’t miss out on the beautiful sunsets and excellent late night star gazing) and the cabin had all the amenities we needed. The cabin was a bit difficult to find at night if you’re driving in for the first time. The location was great and not too far away from the neighboring cities. Thanks for allowing our family to stay, we would surely come back! '

'The fridge froze everything solid. There was no broom to sweep the dirt out of the cabin. But the location was beautiful. The cabin was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing. We didnt have no wood for the burn pit which the add on line saud it was provided. I would stsy again but i would definitely ask for a broom and then make sure the fridge worked properly. '

'This was one of the best VRBO experiences we've had - great host, outstanding location, comfortable accommodations. Everything we needed was readily available, the furnishings were comfortable, and Mary Lynn is an excellent host. She left us homemade banana bread and allowed us to use her golf cart to be able to see the shoreline at sunset. We would highly recommend this to our friends, and won't stay anywhere else if we return to the area.'

'Very beautiful area, close to dark sky. Had all needed amenities. Close to Wilderness State Park, Mackinaw, etc. the only concern, some window screens were missing or had holes. They may have been stored away for the end of season. '

'Cabin was very clean and fit our needs well. Walking distance to several in town locations including the ferry was nice. Night time fires on the beach were great. '

'It was very clean, plenty of space, and an absolutely amazing view ! Great little fire pit and chairs. The driveway could be marked for easier view since the GPS does not take you exactly to the house. The kayaks were in the garage but there were no instructions to access them. Other than that it was a great stay! '

'A nice place to enjoy the beach, no matter the weather. Enough room for everyone without being cramped. Wifi easy, excellent views, quite neighborhood, peaceful setting. In short we LOVED IT.'

'We had a good overall experience at this cabin/cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched my expectations for the price. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free. The location was cool, kind of on a peninsula, and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom was tight but functional. It was close enough to what we wanted to do. We did not utilize the water at all but it was nice viewing the lake in our downtime. I would stay here again. '

'Owner was very helpful when we did not have any hot water. He had it taken care of very quickly. The main complaint we had would be how loud the traffic was at night so make sure to bring something to run at night to block the noise out.'
