'This was our second time staying at River Haven. This is the perfect spot for our annual MTB trip.BV trails are just a few miles away and Salida's trails are about 25min. The hot tub and fire chimenea down by the river are some highlights. We hope to be back next year again. Thanks!'

'Loved the design and layout with all bedrooms downstairs. Very easy access and close to town. Fully stocked with everything we needed in kitchen and bathrooms. Cozy with soft couch, great bedding, soft pillows and comfortable mattresses. Only a few things we didn’t love: There was a septic like odor downstairs in bedroom area. Home is on main road with constant traffic. Not bad when sleeping with doors and windows closed but loud if open or big trucks go by. The bathrooms could use a few...

'The couple that runs this property are very sweet and will help you with anything! Saw deer and trout! The hot tub was amazing by their little stream! They are local walking distance to downtown, but yet you still don’t hear the madness. It’s in a culdesac but it’s completely quiet and serene! Thank you for letting us stay in your home!'

'My wife and I stayed in this Coal Creek property for 6 nights in late March with our pets. The property is compact but very well designed. Everything is there, even laundry. The location is fantastic, just a half block off of Elk Ave. We are seniors but in good shape. The only thing that seniors or renters with children might not appreciate from the pictures is that the stairs up to the bedroom are very very steep. As I say, no problem for us, just be aware.
