'We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. 'Decent hotel but the location on a very busy road wasn’t ideal. Constant noise from quad bikes and motorbikes late into the night made it impossible to enjoy the pool during the day and kept us awake at night. A steep 10 minute walk up from the port and very handy for bars and restaurants in the Old Town.
