'Nice easy stay was very clean and quiet. They also had a decent free breakfast. Friendly staff and willing to help with suggestions on where to go and even provided us with push sticks for the river tubing. '

'Hotel was going through a needed remodel. Nothing was inconvenient , but some area's were in a understandable and necessary mess. No problems , just need patience and understanding for good results. We had a really good view from our room of the river. '

'The property is well maintained and it's age gives it charm. Breakfast is a variety of easily prepared or ready to eat items. Although most people prefer to go out for breakfast. The bed was nice and there was always hot water. Water pressure good too.'

'But it's very close to everything nearby that you can walk and it's such a quiet area super nice. It's the second time I stay there and I'll probably stay there again in the future I'm quite sure.'

'We stayed in the king bungalow room with a full kitchen and spacious living room area, complete with a reclining couch and chair. The bedroom was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pretty standard. Everything, for the most part, seemed new or nearly new.
Close to everything but not in the middle of it. FYI: The driveway up to the motel is pretty steep, which makes walking up it after a night at the beer halls or bars a little challenging. We would stay again.'

'We stayed 3 nights and it was Amazing. The hotel front desk peeps were extremely friendly. The rooms were updated and clean. I loved that it was in walking distance to everything (downtown Helen, shopping, dining, site seeing). We will definitely be coming back. '
