'The bed was very comfortable. I found the place a little dark, as all the windows are up in the front part by the kitchen. The kitchen worked out really well - had everything i needed! It was cold, damp and windy, and then snowed, so did not spend much time outside. I think I would love sitting in the yard or on the front porch in warmer weather. 'We enjoyed our stay very much, the cabin is cosy but adequate for four, even six people. The location and grounds make this a relaxing getaway, with grill and fire pit. There is a very beautiful river nearby which seems a popular fishing destination and the family and I walked down to see it. We were here, not for fishing, but to see the Great American Eclipse, and this place suited our small family just fine. Meals can be cooked if needed and the comfort and temperature was great.'

'This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this cabin on Autumn Lake. It is absolutely perfect! The location is stunning and has the back drop of the perfect fall setting. The location is exactly why we chose to stay here again this year. It is a five minute drive to the salmon river. It is so easy to get up and go fish, come home for lunch and then hit the river again in the afternoon. There is a great gas station and dollar general less than 10 minutes away for any last minute items...

'Cute little place. Easy check-in and good communication with the host. We were not aware that there would be no towels, so bring your own if you stay here. The front door is weird and three of us pinched our fingers in the door. Also, the water smells a little funny. We had no cell phone service here, but the WiFi worked great.'

'I was pleasantly surprised how new and clean the cabin appeared upon entering, the pictures didn't do it justice. The area was quiet despite the road nearby. There were plenty of places to eat not far from the cabin. Communication with Kelly was excellent and she was only ever a quick message away if needed. 'I needed a space to write my dissertation This was a a great place for me to focus. It's truly a cabin in the woods tucked away, but close to the fire department and a gas station. I was a little surprised to see 2 other cabins close by, but no one was there while I stayed. Cabin is equipped with all the things you need to function. I would just say the propane heater fumes were hard for me to deal with. I had to keep the window open a lot Also, the throw blankets had dirt in them. Housekeeping...

'Beautiful, serene wooded land. Saw a lot of birds. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the swing and exploring the woods. Saw two Garter snakes. The pond is also really pretty. We didn't fish only enjoyed the scenery. Before we left the kids were asking when can we come back. Also wanted to note my king Charles cavalier loved the long windows she could sit on the floor and watch the birds. For those who must have internet the WiFi works amazing.'

'We had a wonderful time at the Tubbs' Family Cabin. It's clean, fresh, and very comfortable. The property is a good balance of in the woods/close to the city of Rome, NY. Our host has been responsive, kind, and welcoming. Their cabin made our Christmas holiday extra special. It's a beautiful property.'

'First of all this cabin is perfect for your snowmobile adventures, that was our entire intention to rent this place. Everything was spot on and amazing, the comfort of the furniture and bedding was a 10 plus after a long day of riding. 'We rented Cottage #1 for the 2024 solar eclipse and it was perfect! The unit had a beautiful view of the lake from both sleeping areas, was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was also beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail! During our stay we enjoyed painting some rocks for the property grounds, fishing from the canoe, and just relaxing around the fire.
