'It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine.'

'This was a neat little place to stay m, offering a cabin like feel. Close walk to restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. It had everything I needed and then some in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice after days of long hikes. I’d stay here again. '

'This was a cute house in a nice neighborhood. We were able to walk a block to the water (just to see it). The town is drivable and so quaint. Please note that while the house had wifi and we were able to use the wifi for Voice over internet for our phone, our phone had no coverage (Verizon) it kept trying to connect to international, and we noticed that the part of the actual lake was right near the border of Canada. At night, we could hear the border control helicopters, which didn't bother...

'We took a boat ride from Detroit, Michigan down to Vermilion municipal docs. Decided to stay in town… this home is charming, nautical themed, clean, and well appointed. Definitely would recommend this home to others.'

'We were in town for a dog show in Oberlin. My 3 mini long haired dachshunds and I had a great stay. Very comfortable, nice park next door to walk the dogs and only 10 minutes from the dog show sight.'
