Willow Beach Christmas
A wonderful couple if days made even better by the honey touches, the Christmas decor outside, and even a Christmas tree for our granddaughter to enjoy. Truly a home away from home and we will be using this property again when we'r have other family visiting. Highly recommend!

All the comforts of home.
This property is even more lovely than percieved on line. We walked the beach , explored the trails on foot and on the bikes (which come with the cottage) and enjoyed the scenic 10 minute drive into town to enjoy the waterfront and the great dining experiences at the local restaurants. in nearby Amerstburg. We then looked forward to relaxing on the large well furnished deck or wathcing netflix on the big screen TV. We were more than pleased with this cottage because of it was not only beautifully decorated but so nice and clean. We want to thank our hosts for leaving it so welcoming. We would love to come back to stay at Willow Beach Cottage and make more memories.

Exceeded expectations
When we arrived the cottage was immaculate, inside and out. Very welcoming. Leon and Nella have thought of everything a visitor might need: a very well appointed kitchen, comfortable outdoor spaces, lots of closet space, great toiletries in the bathroom, bikes for riding, outdoor activities and fire pit. We loved coming back to this space at the end of a hot day of hiking and beaching and wining and dining. Close to Amherstburg, with its lovely downtown and beautiful parks. Nice areas to walk in the neighbourhood around the cottage. Loved sitting on the deck at night and listening to the birds readying for sleep and the waves on the shore.

The property is beautifully situated with a short walk to two beaches! It has many upgrades that make it feel like an escape in the country. The added touches make this stay a great place to getaway and have fun with family!

The property was immaculate and better than the majority of hotels you would stay at. Trails, beaches, wineries, heritage sites all within a stones throw from your doorstep. Tiny touches throughout will want for you to extend your stay here.

Wonderful vacation
What a fabulous home. All the amenities were perfect. Willow Beach cottage itself is wonderful inside and incredibly comfortable. The location of the cottage was very good for exploring and very near the lovely town of Amherstburg. Would love to go there again.

Wonderful location!
We loved the location and amenities of this property! Everything that we needed was provided. The ONLY downside for us was that the beds were quite hard - which will be great for people who like a very firm mattress.

Beautifully renovated large lake house. Fully stocked with all one needs. Grand covered porch and fire pit were used during our stay. Enjoyed beach and neighbourhood walks and visits to nearby restos and breweries. Great location for touring. Thanks again Leon & Nella!

Peaceful Getaway
This Cottage is everything that was advertised. It is peaceful and lovely. It had everything you would ever need and more. We enjoyed the scenery, wildlife, hiking trail and being near the lake. The side porch was a favourite spot in the morning to have coffee and the fire pit was greatly enjoyed at night. I would highly recommend but I don't want too many other people going there so I can't book again. LOL

Christmas getaway
My wife and I can’t say enough about this amazing property. A great little gem in a really nice part of the province. Leon and Nella were very responsive in all communication. I was very impressed with the attention to detail of the property - Everything you see in the listing is as advertised. Will be coming back!

Relaxing getaway close to home
This was an absolutely fabulous property. It exceeded our expectations! If this property was available as a permanent rental, I would jump on the chance to rent it for my husband and I (retired). It's the perfect little home.

Home away from home
We were visiting family in the area and needed a place to stay. The cottage was beautiful. So clean. So peaceful and quiet and so well decorated. The neighborhood was lovely and we managed to get out for a nature walk. I just wish we had of had more time and better weather. We will need to book again so that we can take full advantage of the facilities and area.

Family Visit
Dad and I flew out to spend a week with family. This cottage is cozy and very well appointed, with many items you're used to having in your own home. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood near a path, about a 10 minute walk to the beach, an approx. 10 minute drive to Amherstburg where there's shopping and restaurants and an old fort to tour, and 15 minutes to Harrow. Leon & Nella responded quickly if we had questions and were very easy to deal with. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend others to this cottage.

Thank you for staying with us at Willow Beach Cottage! We are so glad you enjoyed the house. The leaves are changing colors and wildlife is preparing for winter. So visually beautiful and serene
Absolutely had an A+ experience in this home. It was clean and visually decorative; with 2 full baths it was the perfect space for friends to share and still have privacy. Loved strolling along the lakeshore with coffee in hand. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Slept great! Very much enjoyed the polish of the ambiance. Hosts were communicative and accommodating.
