Leuk hotel in de buurt van Oud Zuid
Een klein maar zeer prettig hotel. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam alleen staat de muziek beneden soms wat te hard. Het hotel is gelegen in een heerlijk rustige buurt. Het ontbijt is redelijk tot goed. 10 euro extra betalen was dan ook niet een probleem. De kamer was niet al te groot en de kwaliteit van het tv beeld waardeloos. Maar ja wie gaat er tv kijken als je zo dicht bij oud zuid bent en lekker in een bruine kroeg in kan duiken. Als je van lekker douchen houd heb je wel pech de straal uit de douch is matig.

Great location, easy to walk to everything, and very quiet. We especially loved the easy access to supermarket. The kitchen contained everything needed to make meals while we were there.

People in charge of the apartments were very ignorant. Locks stopped working and were locked out at one stage. Apartment was ok but small. We were due to check out at 11 and at 11 there was somebody banging down the door.

The property wasn’t as pictured in the reservation. Clearly there are a variety of floor plans in the building and my reservation didn’t specify accurately what I was getting. The reservation showed the floor plan for a one level unit but this was two levels with entry on on street level and the main bedroom at the base of very steep stairs in a very dark basement. This made the place very dark and with the main entry on street level we had no privacy if we wanted any natural light. There was no shampoo or conditioner or paper towels and so little toilet paper that we ran out. The bedding was clean and nice but the apartment itself was a bit run down. Also I arrived at the specified time for check in (right at 2pm—very small window of acceptable check-in times) and it took 45 min for someone to show up to give me a key. The tv was awkwardly situated over the staircase to the basement and we couldn’t get the remote to work and so the tv on the main floor was unusable. I went and bought batteries for the remote but it still wouldn’t work. I phoned and asked for help with the tv problem but no they never called me back to resolve the issue.

The location is great, short walk to museums. It’s nice that the apartment is on a quiet street, but is a bit smaller than expected. We’re not used to the European bathroom where there’s no shower curtain or threshold for the shower stall. When you take a shower, basically every inch of the bathroom floor is wet, all the toiletries on the counter was wet too. We have to mop the floor with a towel after taking a shower so the next person walk in would not slip on wet floor. And because the bathroom is so wet, we can’t close the door otherwise it would smell musty. Since we’re out sightseeing most of the day, we just needed a place to crash at night. This apartment serves that purpose well. The elevator is a big plus especially we have luggage. The attraction discount cards on the wall on ground floor had saved us some money on the canal cruise.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer perfekten Lage. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen oder eine Tram Station ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt! das Apartment ist klein aber dennoch sehr gemütlich!

Excellent location, if you want to rest in a quiet local neighbourhood after a busy day sightseeing. Just a 5 minute walk from Museum Quarter (Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, Concert hall). Easy access to transport, bakeries and cafes around the corner. Check in was simple and easy, with a phone call to contact 20 minutes before arrival so that you could meet at apartment. The apartment itself (we had the 2nd floor with a balcony facing street) was very updated, with a stocked kitchenette, modern bathroom, 2single beds in bedroom and full sofa couch- bed in living. My only suggestion is that a solution be made in the shower area which has no door, and water goes everywhere in the bathroom as the shower floor doesn’t have a lip either to catch water. Perhaps a raised teak bath mat in front of sink area? So water drains under neath... walls are a bit thin as well, and the staircase has very steep and shallow risers so if you wear a large shoe size it will be challenging, luckily there is an elevator. Good value for our family of 4 in Amsterdam :)

Amazing location, filthy interior.
Clearly needed a clean but fantastic location and nice design/layout. Check in is limited to a 4 hour window with a 25 euro OR 50 euro surcharge outside of those times. Also things that I spotted were cobwebs, dust balls and what seemed to be mice droppings.

Excellent location.
Excellent location - there was enough room for a family of four - the apartment was very tidy and staff friendly - excellent local supermarket - all very good. The apartment did have the smell of stale smoke, which was a bit of shame.

Cozy apartment
It’s a very warm and cozy apartment, surrounded with quite a number of museums! Supermarket and restaurant within 5-10 mins walk. It’s actually easy to walk to the centre of ams, and it only takes 20 mins to dam square and 30 mins walks to the ams centraal train station. The kitchen is very nice got everything you will need. Staffs were very helpful and welcome.

The layout of the property is cute, it’s a lovely building, nicely decorated with great facilities. We were on the ground floor so we could here people coming in & our easily but luckily our bedroom was in the basement so it made for a quieter night
