Great Loft
Great hotel with smart designed lofts in the city center of Amsterdam. The loft offers everything what you need during your stay and the staff is really helpful if you need anything. Will definitely book a loft at Zoku again in the future!

I really enjoyed my stay at Zoku, the thought process and space management is quite impressive. Believe me when I say they thought everything through. It’s a unique one and I will definitely be back whenever I am in Amsterdam. My only downside is that you had to pull your luggage and go all the way to the 6th floor to check in and out, that was quite an inconvenience. Apart from that, loved it.

Our stay was quite nice except for the plumbing repairs which left us with no water for a day. They tried their best to accommodate us but still an inconvenience nonetheless.

Nice but for the size it's not worth the expense
The room was not big enough to warrant a high price. The bed was hard to get out of for the one sleeping by the wall (I have not rated down for this aspect, just saying). The cover for the duvet did not have domes so it hung loose after one sleep - the bed was comfortable. The couch was uncomfortable. No dish cloth to wipe the table or bench - just 2 tea towels. The shower door squeaked badly every time it was closed. The water came out on to the floor after each shower. The shower had good pressure. Plenty of places to store luggage in the room and the table was a bonus. The complimentary drink and outdoor seating is nice to be able to enjoy this drink. The staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The photos make the room look bigger than it is - we booked the Grand Loft. I wasn't impressed that they didn't take my money when I booked the room - that was stated on the hotels.com confirmation email - that they were supposed to take my money - not hotels.com. We could have avoided the many discussions which wasted my time on 2 days. Hotels.com told me that they should have taken the money when I booked. Because they didn't do that, I argued that it had been paid (as per my email stating this), wasted a few hours over this. Plus they accidentally took money from the wrong Visa - even though they refunded it straight away, I lost money on the exchange rate for that incorrect transaction. it was an experience I don't wish to repeat.

Very cool loft rooms! Friendly staff, very welcoming! Nice common spaces including a roof garden and deck outside the restaurant and bar. Super easy for public transit, outside of the super busy and touristy downtown but certainly within walking distance.

Overall average experience and a bit pricey for what you actually get out of it as a vacationer. Cleaning crew only comes once every three days. Breakfast was 20 euros per person even though we only wanted a croissant and coffee. The rooms are nice and as advertised and the upstairs area is cute. In retrospect, I probably would have preferred this hotel if I was just working or traveling alone rather than vacationing.

Love it
Loved it! I stayed in the regular loft and it was perfect. It had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was perfect, the bed was super cozy, the lounge was great. I loved the whole concept of the place. The “lobby” was on the roof, and stepping out of the elevator you are met with plants and views of the city until you reach the inside work area. It’s open concept is super aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It doesn’t look like a lobby it looks like.. I don’t know but whatever it is, it’s nice and comforting. The staff are particularly helpful and cheery. Their attention to detail was incredible. When they found out that it was my birthday, they wrote me a card and gave me chocolates as a gift. That was a really nice gesture. Overall I loved it and would definitely return!

We had trouble finding accommodations in Amsterdam for six days, even for just our first night. It turned out it was the beginning of the King's Day celebrations, so we felt lucky when Expedia provided us with Zoku. The place is very hip, has a great rooftop garden/bar/restaurant, and features well-designed rooms with super-comfortable loft beds and kitchenettes. The downside was that the room was quite expensive; we paid about $400 a night with no breakfast (or parking) included. In addition, the AC/heating wasn't very efficient. Were the weather much warmer, it would have been uncomfortable, especially at night.

Loved staying at zoku. It’s modern and quite a different experience. The studio concept with bed at top gives you plenty of space for eating/relaxing. There are also common utility area from where you can borrow stuff like iron, extra beddings/kitchen stuffs.

Loft vraiment très sympa, bien aménagé et joliment meublé. Les espaces de coworking et le roof top sont également des atouts précieux. Zoku est situé juste à côté d’une station de métro et de tram, mais il est possible de visiter le centre d’Amsterdam à pied depuis l’établissement. Seul bémol: le prix. Mais Amsterdam est une ville si chère…

Incredible find….
What a find. So easy to get to from the airport via train and metro, great place to work, stay and conduct business. Loads of meeting rooms and ad hoc spaces , inside and outside, all situated in a vibrant area for bars and restaurants. Won’t be staying anywhere else when in the Dam.
