First off the manager is a disrespectful, misleading crook. We booked for 2 travelers, which was declared through Expedia AND the motel. I checked in and was waiting for my friend to arrive as they were a couple of hours behind, of which I let the manager know BEFORE checking in. I get settled and walk to the nearest pub for a beer. When my friend was set to arrive I left and went to check with the manager to see where they should park as we were assigned parking and did not want to take anyone else's space. He informed me there is only one spot per reservation. I ask if I can PAY for an additional spot. He starts yelling and say all the spots are full (a complete lie there were 11 spots available all night). When I told him that I would like a refund, he refused saying there's no refunds. I remind him that I purchased trip insurance through Expedia and would need A COPY of the contract to file a claim, to which he said he would call the cops. I call Expedia as there is no way to finish the claim without corresponding paper work, and after 2 HOURS, Expedia was able to get a claim filed for me. That to me screams fraudulent behavior so I reported him to the BBB.
As far as the room? Cigarette burns everywhere, small, dirty. And there were at least 3 roaches crawling around.
I am lucky I got my $100 cash deposit back but honestly worst experience at any motel in orange county, period.
I don't know how this lazy, disrespectful cheat has a business license, IF he has one...
