'Clean'

'Great hotel. Building is 1919 and renovated approx a year ago. Rooms are small studios (bath and shower separate from the sink which is in the studio) Hotel has a renovated factory warehouse feel--although this building was a social club. Exposed brick, hardwood floors etc. Really nice stay. Tons of free parking and cool restaurants all within walking.'

'Everything within the control of the owner/manager was perfect. Location is a bit remote and the convenience store across the street closes VERY early but that is not the Motel's problem. Very clean and the owner couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Will stay again for a Hawkeye football game weekend.'

'Had to book another because there were not only communication issues with property management, but payment issues on their end. I cancelled the booking, but it still was showing I was staying when I was not. So can't say how it really is'

'What a great find. As soon as my family and I walked in, we felt at home. The vibe was awesome.The neighborhood was quiet abd peaceful. It was like stepping back in time. we even had 3 deer stroll across the yard one evening.It was super clean. The beds were reaĺly comfortable. The hostess, Kathleen, even had complimentary fun snacks and wine set out for us to enjoy It was fun looking around and seeing many of the things from the 'old days': various salt and pepper shakers, Betty Crocker cook...

'The location is excellent. It is right next to a topnotch local coffee shop. A bar and Godfathers Pizza is directly across the street.This is a newly remodeled place and it is great, one of the best that I have stayed in. It is very roomy, well furnished and quiet. There was no issue with parking on the street in front of the place.'
