What a perfect spot!
I have stayed in Girdwood on the way outside 5 times now. This was the best location- both of the unit and the building. The host was very helpful about the process, and straight forward about the accomodations. Reserve early, because I hope to stay here again next fall. HINT- The Spoonline almond crust pizza was a great take out, if you can find them open.

Great Girdwood location within steps of shuttle stop, the Bake Shop and trails. Quiet building and everything we needed for out stay. Jaci phoned ahead to review check-in process and responded promptly to our questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! The owners communication was superb, very clean place with a kitchen that had all the amenities needed, and not to mention the water heated up pretty fast which was nice. Overall, would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect Location
Great spot for access to everything. Surprisingly very quiet. Recommend setting up a hammock on the patio where you can lay and watch the mountain.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. Good idea on hammock! Currently, there is one recliner outdoor chair in the unit along with the two indoor/outdoor rattan chairs.

NICE AND COZY
THE PROPERTY WAS PERFECT. THE BASEBOARDS NEEDED TO BE CLEANED BUT THE REST OF THE PROPERTY WAS CLEANED VERY WELL. I MADE A MISTAKE WITH THE DAY WE WERE SUPPOSE TO LEAVE AND THE OWNER WAS VERY PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING.

Excellent Girdwood vacation stay
This unit more than met my needs. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy full size mattress with lots of pillows, generous supply of towels, convenient location to bike path and hiking trails on Mt Alyeska. Enough space on the porch for two people to sit outside on good weather days (although borrowed chairs from my daughter who lives close by). The sun sets very late in July (around 11PM) so many hours available to enjoy watching the sun drop low in the sky after dinner. Jaci was wonderful and answered the few questions I had when I arrived (exhausted and jet lagged) like where to find the circuit breaker and how to direct water to the shower head. There is a coffee shop and restaurant within walkiing distance and several others just a mile away. Hiking trails in Chugach National Forest very convenient. If you stay here I recommend hiking Crow Pass, Crystal Lake and Barnes Mountain Trail (you can find it on AllTrails) which is a short distance away and an amazing 6 mile hike (7 miles if you hike a little further to Raven Glacier). Overall was so grateful to find this VRBO.

Lovely!
Jaci’s condo was the perfect place to chill when we weren’t on the mountain skiing and snowboarding. The furniture set up makes this studio feel spacious, and Jaci provided everything we could need for a comfortable weekend (coffee, etc.). The cherry on top is Jaci’s Girdwood-inspired, thoughtful interior design - I can tell Jaci loves this little valley and mountain tremendously just like our family does and we appreciate her reflecting its beauty in her unit. Very sweet review. Happy you enjoyed some of the history of the Alyeska ski resort displayed. I have skied Alyeska all of my life and feel so alive the minute I turn down Alyeska highway to go skiing.

Thumbs up for this property. Loved being able to see (therefore easily walk to) the Bake Shop and Jack Sprat. The noise from skiers coming into the condo complex and clunking down the hall was a little annoying.

This property was small condo, very comfortable, well equipped and organized. There were extra mattresses for additional guests. The place had everything we needed and a nice well equipped kitchen. The location is excellent, being very close to the ski slopes. The owner was very easy to contact when needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Not only was the condo great, neat and comfortable, the location was the best. Loved the town of Girdwood! Would stay in Girdwood over Anchorage any day. The owner Jaci was very accommodating with all of my questions. Planning a trip to Alaska from Maryland is difficult. She was very helpful.

Location, location, location
Cozy little condo just a few steps away from our two favorite restaurants in Girdwood- Jack Sprats and the Bake Shop. It was a 90degree day so the unit was very warm. Fan full blast and screen door open for the whole night. Would be nice to have a screen on the kitchen window for cross ventilation but otherwise we will likely stay again.

Great location, clean, and comfortable.
I stayed with my two teen sons and we were comfortable. We slept well. In fact, I slept later than I usually do and didn't notice any loud noises in the building. The location is not ski in/ski out, but a short walk up to Chair 3 or 4. While my kids slept in, I walked over the Bake shop for coffee. Very convenient for eating out, taking the shuttle, skiing, and seeing friends. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean.

Nicely equipped and centrally located
This is a very comfortable and well equipped studio. It was immaculate with clear instructions how to operate everything. Owner Jaci reached out to me at home a couple of days before I came with great information how to enter the building, how to find the building, how to get into the bear- proofed dumpsters and many other things. It was clear in talking with her she loved Girdwood. I had a great four-night stay. Rent with confidence.

This Studio condo worked out very well for my son and I. The owner was very responsive when we had questions and also when we needed to contact the onsite property manager with an issue of a "runaway" alarm in another unit. The location was excellent for the places we visited, site seeing and fishing wise. Great job, all!

Most Excellent Girdwood Condo!
This was a great property to stay at for a skiing vacation in Girdwood. Clean, secure, easy check-in and out, walking distance to lifts, and well appointed. Save money buying groceries in Anchorage - you have a full kitchen to cook in including a crock pot. Walk back for lunch each day if you want to. Great size for a single or couple with a kid but I would not try and put 4 people in there. It is a little exposed meaning if you have the blinds up or are enjoying the deck anyone walking or driving by will be able to see into the unit; not a big deal for me but maybe for some people they would prefer more privacy. I will likely book this property again.

Great Place to Stay in Girdwood
This is a lovely and well-supplied studio condo in Girdwood. It really has it all: great location with easy access to shops, well-supplied (even provides hand cream, shampoo and conditioner, spices in the kitchen, etc.). All products are top notch quality (no mini unheard of products!). The unit is well-kept and in A-1 shape on arrival. The entry to the unit provided a little confusion for us initially (the entry will not work until check-in time and it doesn't allow for daylight savings time--meaning your entry on daylight saving time is an hour later than specified in the agreeement), but the owner was available online and on a cell phone to help us through the process. I would certainly recommend renting this unit. It was a great experience!

So happy you enjoyed your stay and you folks were great guests! Yes, the day light savings time can be a head scratcher even though this was explained in the emailed entry instructions it is easily misunderstood, I even forgot until we talked through it (Spring forward). Thanks again!

Ski Condo That Works in the Summer Too
For a bucket list trip you hope everything comes together. That starts with finding the right place to stay. And we did that with this Girdwood condo. In a convenient location, close to Anchorage but nicely away from the beaten path, it was an ideal base for our many planned day trips up and down the peninsula. The condo was adequately sized for the two of us and had a simple, homey feel. We ate a lot of meals in and were appreciative of the well equipped kitchen. Had a bit of road construction in the area during our visit, but where isn't that going on these days. Biggest challenge was figuring out how to navigate the locking devices on the dumpsters. Kept the bears out, but us too. Thanks to Jaci who was gracious in helping make our stay comfortable. Love to return again some day.

Thank you for the nice review! I also noticed the bear warning sign on the garbage dumpster after your stay and had to ask for help from a tourist to get the lid open the lever was so little maybe 1/2" x 3" and hard to see in the front middle just beneath the lid/bar, I kept trying to pull the lever on the left side which was meant to hold the lid open.
