It was overall a great house and served its purpose. The house needs some TLC but it was great for the family on our soccer trip.

Comfortable and cozy

The property is comfortable and cozy. Some touch ups of paint and not all of the plugs work correctly. There was confusion about firewood being provided. The shower in the master has a small leak from the side. Overall the property is bigger than expected, and close to shopping and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this property. Beds super comfortable also!! That is always a plus!!

A few repairs and better cleanning

Our stay started on a positive note with a beautiful home in a great location. The house felt clean upon arrival, which was a good first impression. However, the experience was marred by several issues that we encountered during our stay. The TV did not work the entire time we were there. We tried troubleshooting on our own but had no luck. We reached out to the host, who promised to get back to us, but unfortunately, we never heard from him again. To make matters worse, there was a leaking sink that caused water to drip into the kitchen cabinets and down the wall. There were several other minor issues, but we did our best to clean up and make the most of our stay. Overall, the home has potential, but the lack of responsiveness from the host and the unresolved maintenance issues made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been.

Unsatisfactory

This was one of the worst short term rentals I have ever experienced. The property was not clean (washing machine had thick layer, all the dishes and glasses were grimey, the floors were not clean). I had to deep clean items myself. The photos are not remotely accurate to the current condition of the property. This is not suitable to be a short term rental. The door to the upstairs guest bathroom doesn't close. The faucet is very difficult to turn off in the master bathroom. One of the sinks is leaking in the master bathroom. The master bed had a random board fall from beneath it. There was cutting corners and sloppiness everywhere you turned with this property. I was incredibly disappointed and it greatly disrupted my plans for my stay in Anchorage. The owner and Vacasa passed on the problems with this property to the guests. This listing should be removed and inspected before it's allowed to be listed again.
