'Me and my colleague stayed at Hunters Lodge for 3 nights in 2 rooms. The furniture is really outdated but it was very clean and the bed was comfy. First the electric switch for my sky light (the only window in the room) was broken and the room was boiling hot. Took a while for someone to come up and take out the ladder to fix it (they had to reset the system). The socket next to my bed didn't work as I wanted to charge my phone during the night. My collegue's shower was half broken. When I got...

'Good'

'Great hospitality. A clean and pleasant place. Good breakfast. Although we arrived late at night due to airport issues, the host waited for us and welcomed us warmly. On the day we left, we had a few hours before boarding our cruise he stored our luggage and recommended places to visit.'

'it was horrible, it should be closed.'

'Great place to stay and honest trustworthy staff 5 stars. I left my wallet and keys in the room and the staff kept everything safe for me. Many thanks'

'I paid £26 for the night, and felt like I overpaid. Advertisement pictures are false. Maybe that room looked like this, once. Not any more. Stains on the walls, stank of cigarettes. Bed looked like it's been slept in already. No towels provided. There was a kettle and some tea in the room, but no cups to make it in. Shared toilet and bathroom, dirty, no soap, no shampoo. Tried to raise issues with the property, but there was no answer on the phone number provided, and no reply via messages on...

There was no microwave Wouldn’t stay ever again and put me of the Experian website We only used...

'Lovely stay'

'Stayed at Darwin House and the experience was pretty poor. The room I originally booked was already being used by another guest, with her belongings everywhere, so I was moved to Room 1. The phone number provided for help wasn't even in service at the time. The property itself is filthy - the room was just about liveable for one night, but I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the sheets. It feels more like a bedsit or HMO than proper guest accommodation. The rooms smell strongly of mould and...
