We did the train ride through the mountains, white water rafting at NOC, tried (failed lol) fishing, and we were close enough to make a day trip to Pigeon Forge. The area is beautiful and so quiet. 'Our family had an amazing time at this house. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The view of the lake is amazing at sunset and the easy access to it made daily water activities a must. Definitely make use of those kayaks! The home was well cared for and very cozy. We found that we needed to grab things like hand soap and TP at the grocery store, but that was no biggie. Would absolutely stay here again. '

'This home is breathtaking! The views are incredible, the bed was super comfortable, and the location was ideal! The driveway to the house is a little tricky but fun and totally doable :) The hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day. It's what I'd expect for a house on a mountain! 'The location was fabulous with easy access to the river. We took a 1 1/2 hour kayak run using the owners kayaks and ending right at the house. Fabulous! 'The Martin river house is a true gem! Bryn is an incredible host and she made every aspect of our stay special. The decor is stunning and comfortable. From the soft sheets, comfy beds, gorgeous finishes and fully stocked kitchen, no detail has been missed. Bryn has excellent communication skills and made us feel right at home.
