The hotel ask for security deposit of 2000 pesos per night. So at the check in counter, she asked for the security deposit of 4000 pesos. I gave her the cash of 4k, and she also asked for a credit card, not sure what it was for. So I handed her the credit too. And she gave me a receipt for 4k, and I thought that was the receipt for the cash I gave her. Didn’t realized that she charge thw 4k on the credit card and the receipt was for the card not the cash. So when I checked out, handed them the receipt and ask for my cash back. And they told me that was for the card holding deposit which they will reverse so as not to charge my credit card/. And they ask for the cash receipt since I did not get one and assumed that the receipt I received was for the cash. They checked their video and was told that I did not have her cash but only the credit card. Be careful with these hotel staff, of their modus operandi.
