'There are always a few small things (our cold tap barely worked) but overall, this hotel was brilliant. Staff were friendly, spa was really well appointed and treatments were both very good and reasonably priced. Its location right on the river and in the heart of a tiny but bustling little village is idyllic. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, all the necessary accessories. Highly recommended '

'Just a one night stop on the way home to UK. What a really beautiful place to stay. A friendly welcome, wonderful rural area. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely food for both dinner and breakfast. Would love to stay again. Maybe just a little too far from the city with not particularly good public transport close by ? However, if you are happy to drive into the Park & Ride it is a great place to stay. '

'Stayed at this amazing property my for one night with work colleagues before a work meeting in Fontainebleau. This is a private residence where the family and small staff serve you as if you are family visiting their home. The difference is the meals and the service are exquisite and your every whim is catered to; including a fire waiting for you outside the home ( … aka mansion) after dinner. Each room has its own private restroom and the decor takes you back in time as if you are...

'Great place to stay. During business trips I try to avoid the places down town as I prefer good nights which means fresh air and a good bed. What a great stay you gave me. If you think what has happened over the ages in this place it's a privilige to have had this opportunity.'

'Geweldige overnachting in een schitterend oud kloostercomplex. Het enorme kloostercomplex is schitterend gerestaureerd, en ook 's avonds (alleen voor hotelgasten) open en prachtig verlicht; een heel bijzondere ervaring om daar rond te mogen dwalen. Ook zeer sfeervolle hotelkamers, in kloosterstijl maar met modern comfort.'
