'The only thing was the tap water was burning hot but the shower was not hot at all. Overall, we stay at the Carriage Inn and we love it. Will continue to stay when we are in town.'

'Not a big room by any means, but it was quite nice. The bed was very comfortable. We would have liked an ice machine available, but made do without. Loved that the Wild Rose Brewery & Taproom is a 10 minute walk away. We didn't try the onsite restaurant, as we were in the mood for something less frilly. Really enjoyed walking the halls, checking out the photos of Calgary's past. All in all, a lovely spot.'

'We really enjoyed the room and hotel, but unfortunately were checked out before we left the room and housekeeping came in while we were still asleep in bed.'

'Hot Tub is nice and very warm. Breakfast has a good variety. Everything seemed very clean. Flooring seemed quite freshly upgraded. Rooms are a little small when you have 2 toddlers with you, there would be no room for a playpen.'

'We had a fabulous stay, we got there a little early but they had our room ready and we were able to sign in. I was impressed with how clean the whole property was. From the entrance through the pool, our room and breakfast room. Breakfast was great in the morning, scrambled eggs and sausage for hot options, and loads of other options to choose from. The beds weren't fabulous, but weren't awful. A little mushy and no firmness on the edges. We would definitely stay here again.'

'This hotel over sells and under delivered even at its low price. The shower didn’t work, the bath tub was rather gross, if you would like something from a vending machine you need coins, which seems rather old fashioned, the continental breakfast is as exciting as a loaf of wonderbread with jam. There is a waffle maker, but nothing to put on waffles, coffee is a dark color, so that’s better than water I suppose. If your room is too warm you’re not allowed to use the beautiful window air...

'OK for 1-2 nights max if your on a tight budget. Close to 39 ave ctrain to access downtown and a quick uber to Chinook mall. No view at all out of the window of room 302. Shower/tub is very dated(patch work repairs, stains, leaking faucet) Smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hallways. Woke up at 2am to a loud domestic dispute right outside my room. sounded like someone was getting assaulted by 2 other individuals. Crying, beating and shouting for almost an hour. Very uncomfortable...
