'At first we were placed in the Calvert House but then switched to the Johnson. The shower plumbing was broken. The shower soap pump did not work. The tub porcelain was chipped and the pillows were very hard. The door did not seal at the bottom and hall light came in. Air conditioning was noisy. I know it is a historic inn but these issues should not have been there. I would not go back.'

We booked a handicap room but was giving a standard room I called down to the desk and they did move us to a handicap room. The Restaurant was closed for remodeling. One of the two elevators was not working. The hallways were hot. The a/c was working in our room just fine. It could be a nice place to stay. The location is great for someone that wants to shop...

'Place was in well kept condition and the breakfast was good. Waffle makers. Bacon AND sausage to go with the eggs. Biscuits and sausage gravy wasnt the greatest but not the worst ive experienced. Plus the usual beverages, fruits etc'

'Just what I needed for my one night stay. This place was perfect for my travel for work. I was in a suite which had a kitchenette which gave me the option to store and cook my own food. If you shy away from the motel coffee pods and prefer to brew your own, the room had a small coffee maker that will accept a #2 basket filter (bring your own... they didn't have any) Overall-- Simple. Clean. Easy parking. I'd go back.'
