'The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. '

'What a beautiful spot this was. Our place was on the shore overlooking a beautiful little cove. Listening to the ocean waves roll in while sitting in the wood fired hot tub and sauna was so relaxing. The cabin itself was great. Clean, well stocked with kitchen essentials and beautiful views. '

'My husband and I stayed at this lakeside retreat in early May. Our son in law's family have a cottage down the road. While we spent most of our day in the other cottage, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Lakeside retreat. It is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed working on a few puzzles and listening to music on the Google Home Sound system. We hope to come again one day with our granddaughters and swim in the Medway river and Ponhook lake.'

'Thanks to Arlene and Randy for an awesome 5 night stay in their well stocked ( couldn’t think of one thing that was not there that one needed) cozy cottage right across road on St Margaret’s Bay . You drive up to a bright turquoise home with a side and front deck with lots of chairs overlooking the ocean with decorative beach theme and a beautiful yard filled with lupins and annual pots of flowers . Arlene greeted us and showed us everything inside the cottage . Loved all the extras like...

'Had my bday getaway with friends here it was awesome even in the winter. Says up to 6 guests and we had 5 and it was very crowded, not enoigh dinner table seats for everyone and living room seating was not for us all to sit and watch tv. Other than that it was great thoigh! '
