'It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. 'Last minute booking due to NS forested park trails being closed due to wildfire risks…what a great pivot! Beautiful house, well stocked with great hosts. Lots of stairs if that is a concern. '

'The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor'

'The location is spectacular, and Thomas, the host is amazing.Everyone is very friendly, on the saturday night, there was a local band playing at the venue; could not have ordered a better stay.We will definitely stay here again.'

'Truly enjoyed our time at the BigSky Sea Shanty! The views are unparalleled and the property is in a private area without any traffic. All amenities were provided and the hot tub was perfect for stargazing at nighttime. Lorin was a great host with lots of tips and suggestions for things to do in the area. Very prompt in responding to any questions. Very much appreciated our time at this cottage.'

'Beautiful property . The views from the screened porch and the deck that is up the stairs at the back are more spectacular ! Everything was there that was needed . Super clean , quiet and more spacious than we thought it would be. Would come back any time !'
