'1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time . '

'This house is perfect! Very clean and LOTS of space. The layout is amazing.The kitchen had more than enough to cook or even bake, if you choose to.Very quiet neighborhood.Ideal for any kind of stay.'

'The view down the short hill of the property is amazing. The house was really clean except for a few crumbs in the refrigerator and drawers. It’s in a nice area. We saw people walking every day. One of the best parts was the amazing communication from the owners. They never made us feel silly for asking questions. (Like when we couldn’t turn the volume up on the tv) The history of the church and the area is pretty neat. '

'Idéal pour notre famille (2 adultes, 2 enfants 1 an et 3 ans et la belle-mère). Le seul point négatif était que le spa était brisé lors de notre séjour. Mais ça n'a pas affecté la qualité de notre séjour. À proximité d'une épicerie, pharmacie et NSLC!'

"Positief: Gemakkelijk te vinden en niet ver van het vliegveld Halifax. Mooi gelegen aan het meer, genoeg parkeerplaatsen. Bedden prima. Kregen het idee van een beetje vergane glorie van de Inn. Negatief: Vreemd om een extra deposit te moeten betalen bij aankomst terwijl je de hele verblijfsom al hebt betaald. Ook vreemd dat de bar al om 20.00 uur dicht ging terwijl het restaurant dicht was. Tijd werd wel wat opgerekt, maar raar. Qua koffie serveren, alleen gewone koffie/americano, geen cappuccino of zo mogelijk. Deur badkamer sloot ook niet zo goed en koelkastje te koud om er insuline in te bewaren. Sommige dingen, zoals airco waren aan onderhoud toe."

"Close to interesting boardwalk along harbour in Halifax and right in the lower part of the center with many restaurants nearby. This means also that you have to walk uphill in many cases. Hotel is somewhat dated and internetreception was less than expected. Friendly personnel. "
