'The property was very clean. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Room is equipped with a microwave, a mini fridge, a kettle, a toaster, and all the basic kitchen utensils and cutlery you may need for your short stay. The only downside is that there is no place to eat near the Chalet or in town unless you drive to nearest town Pictou which is 15 minutes drive away.'

'We arrived at the hotel during a power outage in the evening. The lady at the front desk had a rather "you're on your own" attitude and offered us no information regarding the outage other than to say the elevators were out. Of course, our room was on the top floor and there was no offer to help us with our bags. We managed to get all of our luggage with 3 kids in tow by taking the stairs in the dark. 'I want to start with the positive. The room was large, very clean, the beds comfy and there was a/c, fridge and tv. The stay had what we needed and there were water views. However, there were no staff. Our key was stuck to a door with a message saying there was no breakfast so we’d be given a discount.
