'Host’s were very friendly and quick to respond! Very clean and cozy bottom unit! We did have a big truck so parking in the driveway felt tight but there was lots of street parking around! Absolutely perfect for what we needed! Appreciated the supplied snacks! Thank you again! Definitely would stay here again if in Halifax!!'

'Not your average rental! St. Cecilia exceeded expectations in all areas. Incredible property with amazing story. Typically meeting the owners has not been a priority but definitely reach out to Brett and Lara for the history of the church, its renovation and the story behind many of the pieces adorning the property. Beds were super comfortable and St. Cecilia was well equipped. Location was perfect for our event at the Yacht Club, Peggys cove 40 minute drive and downtown Halifax 20 minutes. Sat...

We were within 30 - 90 minutes of all the sites! 'The neighborhood was nice. Overall it was clean, but could use a little more attention to detail in the bathrooms. The front steps look bad and need to be repainted, the stair railing on the top floor is loose and could be a concern for an accident. We had a nice stay.'

"Positief: Gemakkelijk te vinden en niet ver van het vliegveld Halifax. Mooi gelegen aan het meer, genoeg parkeerplaatsen. Bedden prima. Kregen het idee van een beetje vergane glorie van de Inn. Negatief: Vreemd om een extra deposit te moeten betalen bij aankomst terwijl je de hele verblijfsom al hebt betaald. Ook vreemd dat de bar al om 20.00 uur dicht ging terwijl het restaurant dicht was. Tijd werd wel wat opgerekt, maar raar. Qua koffie serveren, alleen gewone koffie/americano, geen cappuccino of zo mogelijk. Deur badkamer sloot ook niet zo goed en koelkastje te koud om er insuline in te bewaren. Sommige dingen, zoals airco waren aan onderhoud toe."
