'Posada del Angel is a beautiful boutique hotel, everything from the decor to the artisanal soap feels thoughtful and considered. Being there feels peaceful, the place has a lot of soul. It was an excellent base for exploring Antigua. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and always there for anything you needed. The room and surrounds are kept very clean. We had four nights here and were sad to leave.'

'The beds were nice. Free coffee and tea all day. The people were nice. It's a good quiet place. We didn't use the breakfast or the pool. Both are not in the complex, but in another building. For the swimming you need to pay extra. The rooms smelled a little musty. The shower had no hot water for a longer time, the second person was often cold.'

'Hotel.service was great when we checked in we were given a free drink coupon to redeem at the bar the only downside was you didn’t get your drink choice it had to be the drink of the month which was vodka with OJ or cranberry so I did not drink it because of the sweetness. I asked if they could just give me club soda and the response was no it had to be one their options.'

While it is very clean, it is a bit rundown. The pool has several tiles missing. My bathroom fixtures were falling off. It is adjacent to the barrio club. And the noise was so loud I felt as though I was right inside of it. My room actually vibrated, and it was very challenging to sleep. i’m glad I did...
