'Roshea, our host, was super friendly and smiling. We asked to change our room from one double bed to two beds and he did with kindliness. The pool was very welcome after visiting Anuradhapura. The breakfast was excellent! 10 on 10!'

'We stayed 3 nights, room is smallish and bed to short. Breakfast sufficient, home cooked dinner very tasteful. The plunge pool is a blessing after a long day sightseeing. The owner arranged a tuktuk driver for a 2 days tour. Lalihd happens to be a licensed tour guide as well and did a great job. '

'We stayed here for three nights and had a really nice time. Don't expect anything fancy, as the place has aged and could certainly benefit from a makeover. However, it has character, the A/C worked, staff is very helpful and pro-active and there's a swimming pool, which allows for a great cooldown after having biked around in the ancient city. Ancient city starts a few hundred yards down the road from the hotel, Nilkitha is very well positioned for a visit.'

'Excellent and very helpful staff Thank you to the ladies at the front desk. My front view was a little pond where you will hear a chorus of frog ensemble playing their evening symphonies and in the morning beautiful wading birds warming up for the day. '
