'Eigenlijk is alles aan dit hotel helemaal top: personeel, opzet, eten, sfeer, kamers. Wij vonden alleen de eetzaal niet heel knus/romantisch maar dat wordt zeker gecompenseerd door alle positieve punten.'

'The hotel is situated in Habarana which is near to all the cultural locations. The lodges are rather dark and midscale, not what you expect from a 4+ star rated hotel. The staf is friendly but not that fast in the restaurant. Not too many alternatives nearby. '

'Goede locatie, als je toekomt oogt het luxe maar de kamers zijn verouderd maar toch oke. Alles wordt niet zo onderhouden zoals we gewoon zijn. Onze kamer had een gebroken raam en je zag dat het niet recent gebroken is. Badhanddoek rook fis en gewassen maar had een gerafeld gat erin'

'Ontzettend genoten tijdens het verblijf in Deer Park (gezin met 4 kids). Erg goed diner (buffet) en ontbijt. Prima kamers. Heerlijk zwembad. Ligt erg mooi maar wat achteraf. Maar 1 nacht daar verbleven en weet niet wat de mogelijkheden (restaurants) buiten de accommodatie zijn. Uitzicht op het meer.'

'Good and clean family room and friendly staff. Arranged a tuktuk tour for us to discover Anuradhapura. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool as well. We only stayed one night but was an excellent place for our stop in Anuradhapura.'

'The team at Big Game was amazing! We booked because we really wanted to do a safari and that was amazing but we were blown away be everything else! The food was above and beyond what I expected with 4 courses for dinner, 3 at lunch , and a very full breakfast. They list breakfast as continental but it's much more than that. The first tent we were in was fine but we upgraded part way through and really appreciated the extra space! '

'Wonderful room two doors away from where Queen Elizabeth stayed. Fabulous little infinity pool and only two of us in there. Stunning view with sundowners on the terrace spoilt by terrorist monkey determined to steal something off our table. Enormous curry with enough dishes to feed at least 3 adults!'

'The picture is from when they build the place, today is terrible. Pool was so dirty and they don’t know how to use chemicals to get it clear. The bathroom had mold/fungus growing, sink was blocked showerhead could almost not give any water. Plus it take 5 min to get hot water and another 5 min to get the right temperature The water from the sink/shower almost smelled it came from a sewers Not storage in the room at all so you live in you’re suitcase Missing curtains at the top windows and...

'Charmante place'

'Really nice hotel, with a lovely pool and sunbeds. During our first night we were situated next to the staff room, what caused a lot of noise for us during the nights. The next morning we told them about the problem and we got an upgrade to the super deluxe room! However they can work on the wifi. In the normal rooms there is no wifi, and only at the restaurant there is wifi available. After our upgrade, we had wifi in the room, so that was nice. '
