'This property is amazing. Just as pictured. It is a bit remote as it is off the main roadway a bit but that is part of what I loved. The views from the porch were gorgeous. I only had one need to contact the property manager about a question but was responded to very quickly. Would absolutely stay here again.'

'James was an amazing host throughout our stay. He helped us in many things apart from the accommodation. He’s well communicated and the apartment was ready on time for us to check in. Would love to stay here for the next visit to Skye.'

'WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!'

'The views from this tiny cabin were spectacular!!! My family of 4 were able to stay there comfortably for 2 nights, despite it being a tiny house. The hosts were great with communication, and helpful/available with any concerns. It is relatively secluded, but that is what we were hoping for. Would definitely go back and stay there again on my next trip to Scotland!'

'Cozy, extremely well designed and efficient, spectacular views in a quiet and private and quaint location. 10 min drive back “The Street” where the sunsets are magical looking across the water to Isle of Skye. Applecross Inn is a great place for late afternoon drinks and dinner. Marion is a great host. 'The cabins are lovely and everything that you require and wonderful shortbread to welcome you. We were very relaxed and the bed was extremely comfortable, so important. Well recommended'

'Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.'

'The hosts came to greet us, even left some food in the refrigerator for us in case we arrived too late to go to the supermarket. The cabin is new, clean, well decorated, quiet environment. The only negative point is the water pressure in the shower. Would recommend to anyone going to the Isle of Skye.'

"Dit hotel is te duur voor wat het biedt. Ons diner was zeer matig. Een heel klein stukje vlees en een berg aardappelpuree voor ca 30 euro vond ik erg tegenvallen. "

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
