'The house itself was well maintained and as described, but we did have a couple issues with our stay overall- a prior renter had a dog which left dog fur on the furniture and rugs, resulting in our clothes being covered in fur and my 1yr old daughter’s skin getting irritated as she is allergic to dogs. 'The house was a perfect getaway on our way back to Michigan! We stayed for 5 days, loved the view and the house! The younger children were entertained by the ping pong table and basketball hoop in the garage! We loved drinking coffee on the patio in the morning and drinking wine around the fire pit at night! 'We spent a week in Asheville helping out with our son’s family move from Denver to Asheville. This stay was perfect for us. The home is comfortable, spacious and has a fabulous porch. The hosts were thoughtful and helpful. I highly recommend this home. The only tiny drawback might be the very steep road to the location which is why I gave it 4* for location. I was a bit hesitant to book it because it was a new listing with no reviews yet, but I took a chance because the photos were appealing. The house is beautiful! It’s a little sparsely decorated, but that didn’t really matter to us. It’s a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath which we were looking for to all have our own rooms and baths. 2 of us ended up sharing a bathroom because the 3rd full bath is 2 floors down where there isn’t...

'The house is nice. The location is great. Beds were comfy. Kitchen worked nicely. Only advice is to be very careful out on the deck at night. The 3-4 steps from the upper to lower deck are very hard to see at night and no handrail to assist. Make sure ALL the outside lights are on for the best visibility of the steps. Dark brown steps on dark brown deck in the dark is not a good combination.'
