'We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.'

'Five senior women set off on an all-girls adventure and it did not disappoint. 'We had four couples stay in the property and completely enjoyed it. The pool was the highlight but its location close to central La Fortuna was great for dining and getting groceries. 'The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. Each room had an individual bathroom with shower that had good pressure. The view of the arenal volcano was breath taking and the pool was a perfect way to stay cool down in the heat. 'Very good communication with the host Arnaldo. Easy check in with codes: no keys. The house was very clean. With four bedrooms the house was quite big but very comfortable for our family. The kitchen and furniture are a bit basic, but all new- seems to be recently built or renovated. For shops and restaurants it is a 15 minute drive through the hilly countryside, which was very green and lush when we were there in the rainy season.'

'Julian was a great host, he was always available and graves the best tips on what to visit and where to get the best deals for local attractions, his home is beautiful a piece of art in fantastic piece of land.
