'This was a very large beautiful house. Plenty of space for 6 women. we had a small problem and our host was was very quick to get us the help that was needed. Very comfortable beds and plenty of towels. We had our coffee in the sunroom, a very nice way to start the day. We had 2 cars so parking was a bit of a challange. Just leave one vehicle on the top. The house is on a huge bluff above Lake Pepin, we saw eagles up close, hummingbirds, butterflies, bunnies, trains running on the other side of the water, boats fishing, a babbling fountain and flowers in the back yard, barges tugging things slowly up and down the lake. 'This property is so wonderful because of the unique view and historical character. Even with its modernized kitchen and bathrooms, the old hard wood floors, the architecture, and period furniture makes it a great place to visit on the Mississippi.'

'It fit our needs, we were ven dors at Ashley for the Arts. We didn't spend any time there. It was a bit pricey for a bedroom and a bathroom. Getting in and out of the clawfoot tub was a challenge without anything to hold onto. Very clean, basic accomidations.'

It was two blocks from the marina so he was able to walk back and forth while taking breaks from fishing- the house had everything we needed and the kitchen was especially well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the backyard and front porch were both quiet and relaxing places to unwind at night-'
