'We were kept well informed on the details around our trip and the booking in and parking wrre very straightforward. Location is great, 3 min walk into town. Bed is very uncomfortable for our liking, far too soft, no support. Advertised as having NETFLIX etc, but yiu cant access this. Would us again, but only for a 1 night stop over.'
'Nice people on the reception offering walking guides just to use as soon as we told we were planning to do some walking in the Lake District. The rooms were spaceous and very clean. In the morning on request freshly baken croissants or oatmeal During the evenings we used the DVD service for free. You can pick one and play a movie in the room.'

'This is a great place to stay. We had a great view from our room. The room was so nice. The bed was so comfy. The Bathroom was a really good size along with the room as a whole. It was in a great location not far from Ambleside. Checking was easy. The room was lovely and clean and i would definitely stay there again. '
'Hotel changed my room to a lodge due to health reasons as a last minute. Couldnt have been any more greatful. The views and grounds were stunning. The staff where great and attentive. Cleaner added extra coffee and milk for 2nd night which was also a great and tidied the room to a high standard. Room was dated, however this added to the overall experience of peace and tranquilitiy which is what i was looking for.

'Best spa i have ever been to. Been to alot of spa's up the north of england but this one blows them all away, low wood offers a budget and more exclusive packages that suit your needs. All areas were clean to a high standard and the on site resturant and bar are a bonus. Breakfast was more than what most places offer. '

The “Welcome Pack” was a great and welcome surprise which is a definite plus compared to other rentals in this area.
Master bedroom had a superb en suite plus a great view of Loughrigg Brow.
