Welcome to Buck Meadows Chalet! Looking for a great home base to explore the Sierra Nevada and Calaveras County? We're it! We love our home away from home, and know you will, too! Centrally located in Arnold, our updated four bedroom, two bath, chalet-style cabin has all the comforts of home and more for you.

We have a fully-equipped kitchen, and a dining room table that seats up to eight, with three more seats at our peninsula. A super comfy and large living room sectional couch awaits you in the living room, along with tons and tons of board games and puzzles, a little reading nook and library with books for both kids and adults, a Smart TV so you can sign into your streaming services (Peacock Streaming Service included), and a Blu-ray/DVD player. Completing the downstairs floor plan, you'll find a bathroom/laundry room combo, along with two bedrooms, each with its own Smart TV.

Upstairs, you'll find two more large bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom includes a game room with two arcade games, a gaming console with over 1,200 games on it, a 20-in-1 foosball/ping pong/air hockey/etc. table, and super-sized connect four game. The game room also has a lovely little balcony that gives you a great viewpoint from which to watch the four-legged visitors that frequently visit us.

Buck Meadows Chalet has central heating and air, as well as a wood-burning fireplace. We provide high quality towels and bed linens for you, and also included multi-plugs with USB charging ports for your convenience. Each bedroom has its own chest of drawers for your use, and the downstairs bedrooms each has its own closet for your use, as well.

Our driveway has a mild slope to it, and fits four cars comfortably, making winter parking easier (there is no on street parking allowed in our subdivision). Arnold does get ice and snow in the winter, so be sure to carry chains with you if you are visiting us during those times.

- We are happy to host you in our own home-away-from-home. We live in the Central Valley, and use this as our home-way-from-home, too. Please treat this house as your own.
-We will absolutely not tolerate loud partying, so if you are looking for a place to do so, please look elsewhere. We know all our neighbors and will hear about any inappropriate behavior. Quiet hours are enforced, and are from 10:00pm-7:30am.
- We are not liable for refunds due to Covid, PG&E, internet, or cell tower outages. We are always willing to rebook a trip due to heavy snow.

- Your safety matters. This property features two exterior security cameras. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces.
