'Very supportive staff,felt like home.'

'Was a good motel. Looks a bit shabby from the outside but inside, it’s still okay. We had a broken bathroom sliding door which was the disadvantage of it all but apart from that, it was a nice stay here and very spacious!'

'Parking is v good and owner was and is vv nice and helpful ad room lovely and clean'

'Great location and close to a lot of amenities. Restaurant was nice for breakfast in the morning'

'Bad smell like wet carpet. Dishes were not vey clean. Walls and doors were dirty'

'Have stayed here twice now with 2 kids. The rooms have been immaculate! they accomodate for my 1 yr old with a cot, sheets and blankets. My 8yr old daughter loves that they have sky tv and the gummy lollies in our room on arrival. Staff are very helpful. Enjoyed our stay with Totara Lodge and will definitely be back. Thank you :-)'

'Water wouldn't go down the drain, and a few cabinets need there hinges fixed.otherwise very comfortable.'

'Hotel is typical standard 3-4 star motel with everything you need. Functional, not very romantic. Connections to Wellington are great, 10 mins by car, hotel is only 600 meters away from railway station Petone which also takes you in 15 mins to Wellington ($10 per person back and forth). Pac & Save and fast food nearby. '

'The staff were very helpful. Had a room with a sofa bed and the staff made up the bed. Clean room and alot of space.'

'We had 2 nights at the Capital, our room was excellent, on arrival it was very clean and Tidy after a weekend there our only complaint was that the shower floor was a trifle slippery and a rubber mat could have been installed for safety. We were disappointed that the Bar was not operating but that was not the fault of Capital, they were still waiting for licsence renewal. Would stay again no problem.'

'Great place to stay'

'First hostel I’ve stayed in. You guys have set the bar high. Everything from the beds to the amenities were better than some of the hotels and I have stayed at. Thank you so much for taking care of us.'

'Would stay here again was super quiet and we had a very nice room.'

'Rustige kamer met aparte slaapkamer en met keuken. Prima bed! Veel tvkanalen, goede wifi, vriendeljk personeel. We vroegen een late check-out en dat was geen probleem.'
