The pet-friendly* Lower Berne Chalet offers a king bedroom with a large closet & desk, one full bath, a living room, and a well-appointed kitchen including all the conveniences of home. You'll appreciate the high-speed internet and Roku TV's loaded with Spectrum's new streaming app offering 250 live channels!

Enjoy the serenity of the wooded view from the screened-in, furnished porch with an adjacent private, fenced-in dog yard. The Lower Berne is located only 2 miles from Downtown Asheville on Beaucatcher Mountain surrounded by trees, near a variety of hiking trails for you and your pup to enjoy. The Pet Friendly* Upper Berne Chalet has the location you want when visiting Asheville, with the feeling of being far away from it all on a hillside, yet literally a 3 minute drive to downtown Asheville. There are two spacious bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen bed) and one bathroom. The Upper Berne features a 75" smart TV with Roku loaded with Spectrum's new streaming app offering up to 250 live channels in the living room. Both bedrooms have smart TVs with Roku as well. Included is free Wi-Fi service with high-speed internet. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, condiments, spices, pots & pans, dishes and utensils and more. A washer/dryer is in the queen bedroom closet.

There is a handicap accessible ramp up to the upper level deck and there is parking for 1 vehicle at the house, and additional guest parking is a short walk away.

You'll receive cookies from Judy's Well-Bred Bakery & Café as well as a $10 gift certificate and treats for your pup.

Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. However, if your pet usually sleeps with you, kindly bring your own bedding and notify us ahead of time. We can prepare the beds without linens upon request so you can snuggle with your furry friend!

Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and flea treatments

We kindly ask that pets remain quiet and not be left unattended. Crates are available, and we can recommend local doggie daycare services upon request.
Pets must be leashed at all times while outside.

Kindly remember that you are fully responsible for your pets during your stay. Any damage or extra cleaning, including excessive shedding, pet hair on beds or furniture, stains, and/or odors may incur additional charges. We hope you and your furry friends have a wonderful time and kindly ask you to treat our property with care.

Clean up after your pet: Please be courteous and responsible to other guests and clean up any/all pet refuse in or out of dog pens. We have several “doggy waste bag” dispensers on the property for your convenience and a poop scooper in pet yards.

Pets are expected to be current on their shots and have flea protection treatment.

Pets must be leashed at all times when outside.

Please be considerate of your fellow neighbors who may be disturbed from your dog’s barking.

Dogs are not to be left unattended. We can provide a soft sided crate if necessary and a list of doggie day cares.

Registered Service and ESA Animals: Guests with certified service or ESA animals are welcome; we ask that you provide email documentation of your certification.
